Re: Can S80 12v+ be less than 40amps?

Nice! I knew there was something I didn't catch on here. I have dedicated supplies for coils (10A) and low impedance injectors (10A). I remember my other ECU before DTA was using a 1A fuse. Then I'll switch to 10A on the ECU, which means I can now feed it using an output directly from my wiring kit ...

Can S80 12v+ be less than 40amps?

Hi, I have an S80 for quite some time and I am migrating my drivetrain to a kit car, along with the ECU of course. I am using a totally customizable wiring kit replacing all fuses and relays. However, the kit's outputs can deliver constant 25amps each. If I need more, I have to use a relay. The S80 ...

Speaking of them, how many they are?
I always thought it was a very very small company, like 2-3 people, but I guess it's more.

I totally second everything. Hands down.

Re: DTA HAS CEASED TRADING

Wow, I joined in when the old forum crashed and never posted since, due to other projects, now finishing a kit car with my old Corrado turbo engine using a Windows tablet but I cannot not say a word about this. Went on the website this AM to check software updates for the fun of it and saw it closed...

Re: Specific CL tweaks when overrun-to-idle situation

To start with, I wouldn’t use the overrun function, it works better if you do it in your map using short injection times(which you already do), enable it later eventually. The problem with ORFC, is that it can dry the runners which leads to hiccups. But doing so the CL will be turned on when I come...

Re: Specific CL tweaks when overrun-to-idle situation

Yes my fuel is not complete yet, but in the 1500 less region it is. Since it's not complete this is why I stlil use Remove 15%. I still have situations where removing over 10% ends up in the right Target AFR. But I think I will get your box and go either on the road or dyno, turn those knobs and hit...

Re: Specific CL tweaks when overrun-to-idle situation

Yeah but what if I use a smaller number, 60-70 and I cut ISV above 1500rpm. Then ISV kicks in at 1500 only, pushing 50-60-70 and PID will pull it down. May not be a conventional way of doing things but if it prevents from stalling, for a certain time I could live with it until I get things right. I ...

Re: Specific CL tweaks when overrun-to-idle situation

Yeah exactly, 50% is the max. Or maybe after trying I'll see that 70-20 works too, but starting with safer is better. Never thought about that, using ISV to the max and PID Loop to control.
