Amazing support from Alex at DTA, map was corrupted but it seems that the ECU itself survived, & the map has now been reloaded & the car started.

I may have killed my E48

I made a rookie error & connected the battery the wrong way round & then tried to start the car. (2L Zetec on Webers if that's relevant) I am fairly sure I've fried the alternator but I think I may have killed the ECU too. I have disconnected the alternator. When I turn on the ignition the f...

E48 Fuel Pump control

If i turn on the ignition but don't start the engine, the fuel pump runs for about 3 seconds.

Could someone please tell me where I find the setting in the software to change it to 10 seconds?
