Re: Innovate LM1 incorrect readings.

Hi Alex,

Yes sorry the output from the LM-1 is currently earthed to the chassis. However it was earthed into the dta sensor ground initially.

Re: Innovate LM1 incorrect readings.

Right, firstly thanks for the replies. This issue took a back seat during the weekend as the car kept dropping onto 3 cylinders and fouling a plug. This ended up taking the focus. I have a borrowed laptop that has the innovate software in it so I looked st that today. By flatline the innovate do you...

Re: Innovate LM1 incorrect readings.

Thanks for the help guys.
I'm sat looking at it now and it appears that the scaling may be correct. However it appears that the voltage the Innovate is reading is different to what the S40 is seeing.
I assume that I have something wrong on the wiring.
Would that be correct?

Innovate LM1 incorrect readings.

Evening Guys, I'm using an Innovate LM1 connected to the S40. My issue is that the scale that is in the ecu doesn't appear to be correct. At idle, I have been watching the Innovate screen vs the dta on the laptop. I'm getting 12.5 on the innovate and about 18 on the dta. Can anyone help with this. T...

Re: Resistors

Hi guys,
I took a feed off the existing VDO oil pressure sensor.
The head temp was fitted from an old cv performance efi I had in prior.
This is the one I'm more concerned about. I need to verify its readings. I've currently set it as a speedshop version.

Resistors

Hi guys,

Wired in the oil pressure and head temperature senders this weekend. I didn't have any resistors.
They both appear to be working correctly, do I need the resistors? What's the issue with not running them?

Thanks

Re: Vw flat four

Tried a different pickup yesterday and it worked much better. It synced and even got to running status. However it must of been out on the timing as it kicked back and knackered my starter motor.
Next job is to properly mount the new pickup and set it all up again.
Thanks for all your help.

Re: Vw flat four

When we wired the injectors we grouped them so that 1+4 fired together and 2+3. to match the VW firing order, could this be the issue?
