Re: T4 ECU with Plastic Body
Good afternoon, that is correct, the new T series units will be lighter and more airtight with plastic coating. This was communicated to us a few weeks ago. The new moulded plastic cases for the bigger ECUs have been well received, especially the weight saving and built in mounting points. We will h...

Re: Datalog download.
Well, that has no solution, the problem is due to the use of a USB-RS232 adapter. I use a PC with direct RS232 and it simply takes about 6 minutes to download 1 hour of information. I think that with the CAN to USB adapter that DTA had it was about 1 min for an hour of data. If I remember correctly,...

Re: Canbus Speed output
Hi, it is one thing for the ECU to emit a signal via CAN and quite another for the steering to recognize what the CAN emits.
there are external modules to make it work. even for some toyota model.

Re: E48 ecu not picking up crank sensor reading.
dta e48, only accepts 2 or 3 wire VR sensors, nothing hall or optical.
You have to change the sensor.
If it is powered, it should not work for this old ecu

Re: Single misfire event every 3 seconds
the brand and model I think I understand what you are asking.
champion qc59c intermittent failure.
new denso ik22.
spark plug wires with resistor I don't remember if 1k or 5k (type golf 2)
It was just noise at that time

Re: Single misfire event every 3 seconds
good morning. Some time ago I experienced a very similar fault, it only occurred at low revolutions and in an unpredictable way, on occasion sporadic, on another very often, the engine never stopped but it was not comfortable, it was a rapid engine failure accompanied by an incident in the crankshaf...

Re: Crank errors at certain rpm
good morning, my experience with this type of error, is to bring the sensor closer to the pulley, in that bmw 20 model it is fixed and the adjustment is not possible, check if the pulley is centered since it is mounted on rubber and it is common for it to faded with years of use. the configuration t...

Re: Launch control issue
Good morning, connect your pc to dta, so you say there may be a temporary short circuit when you press the button, and the ecu warns by making the fan work, a large red screen appears on the pc screen indicating that there is a short- circuit. to the connector -B- pin 4 there will be a button normal...
