Re: coil problem

Hello, well good news. A hour after my previous post i found it. The problem was that the degrees from the crank kit wern't correct, changed them 10 degrees at a time and found it. It idles good now, did a little trip with the car already. But airfuel ratio's arn't good, the gauges and the ecu gives...

Re: coil problem

well no luck so far. it's still shooting and banging. With the hall sensor kit installed and after the oscilloscope test (had a good clean vieuw), the pc said it was a 36-1 trigger wheel and at aprox 80° btdc (the info on the site from the crank pulley is the same). So assuming that is right. Then w...

Re: coil problem

Hi, no succes to get it to run any better. it's shooting and banging, can get it to run a couple of seconds and it stalls. Could it be the cam sensor isn't reading correctly? if i go on the 'coil per plug setting' and put 'only coil per plug above' on 2000rpm. And do the same in 'sequential ingition...

Re: coil problem

Hi, problem is found. Was a STUPID mistake from me, when changing to amplified coils something must gone wrong and i did a save but not a upload to ecu  . Leason learned and from now on always push F4. After the change the voltage on the signal wire came to 0volts. When I uploaded it to ecu I ...

Re: coil problem

hi, thanks a lot for thinking about the problem. Sticking a current clamp on the supply to the coils might be useful....and of course hoping no damage has been done already. It'd be worth removing the coil triggers from the ecu and powering things up to see what happens. this is something i can test...

Re: coil problem

Have been looking at it again. If I disconnect al the plugs on the coils, fuse doesn't pop. Was measuring and on pin E from coil it reads 12.3volt, that's correct. But if I measure on pin A it also reads 12.3v. The manual from the coils says the trigger signal needs to be 0-5v. Could this be the pro...

Pin is connected with the body.

Re: coil problem

Hi,

31 is ground
First it was a 15amp fuse, then a 20amp. But same result

Will try to see if i can ipload it in better resolution.
