You can use the map from the S Series map file, just drag it across from DTASWin into DTAWin and then alter the fueling to suit. It will start your engine.

Re: Launch control issue
Launch is by a momentary switch signal and ground. Launch pot is by a pot so 3 wires 5v, signal & ground. the pink wire is probably 5v.
I think you have a ground problem somewhere from when you moved the loom to a different application.

Re: p8pro no spark issue
Oh dear, you really should save your original working map/s, always a base to return to if a problem like yours occurs.
There will be nothing wrong with the P8Pro.
Seen it so many times.

Re: p8pro no spark issue
Have you tried reloading the Known working Map? Surely you have kept a copy on your PC or a memory stick. This sometimes fixes things if your ecu map has been corrupted.

Without doubt something has changed or been changed since you last ran the car, things don't changed on their own.

Re: Disable a known PIN
It's been a long time since I did it but I am sure you Unlock the ECU twice to remove the Pin No.
So unlock ecu then unlock again before doing anything else.

Re: Car wont rev (map problem)
Is the Crank wired correctly?
Sometimes an engine will run but have like a false limiter
On a Vauxhall crank sensor the pin outs are :-
Pin 1 - signal
Pin 2 - sensor ground
Pin 3 the shield.
It's worth a check a mistake could have happened.

Re: Old E48 - another connection issue
Are you definatly using DTAWin not DTASWin??
Re: S80
Yes Stevie I did that job on all of the early Metal cased S series ECU's, that is why I knew of the problem and heard of all the users issues. I am sure Sandy has sorted the loom correctly. Something really strange has happened lets hope it is sorted soon, as we know wiring is usually at fault will ...
