Re: boost by gear S60pro
All the ECUs can do it. All you need is the undriven wheel speed sensor. Hi Alex. that's what I thought but been advised I need a driven speed sensor. or is this mainly for traction control? I have an undriven speed sensor already attached to ECU. but last time I tried doing gear positioning it was...

Re: USE LOAD CELL TO START CUT (S60+)?
Hi I have 5 year old S60, can't remember what firmware is installed at the minute but am trying to incorporate a load cell to initiate flat shift. 5 years ago, I used a switch in the gearknob, which did work okay but have a new gearbox and would prefer to use a load cell. In the updated 2019 S60 ma...

Re: wiring the crank sensor and oscilloscope
The wires on the crank sensor are the wrong way around. Swap them, and try the scope again. If you have coil on plug, wire them to each ECU output in firing order (assuming you have at least an S60), and then tick twin spark in General Engine Settings. This will run the COPs in wasted spark. thank ...

Re: wiring the crank sensor and oscilloscope
also another question, i have wired my coils as per diagram. coil per plug. but have no cam sensor. is it vital? or I must wire them differently as wasted spark?

wiring the crank sensor and oscilloscope
Hi again. maybe wrong section. tried today to crank the engine for the first time. no joy. i have a dry sump set up with a trigger wheel on the pulley and a magnetic sensor. first question, how can you wire a magnetic sensor wrong? its only a 2 pin sensor. are they sided? below is the oscilloscope. ...
