S60 PRO for sale

Bought used for a project that won't see the light of day.

I've had it checked over by DTA prior to selling who updated it to the latest firmware.

Re: XDash,S60,STC + Race-Tech Dash4 & DL1 logger - CAN issue

Yes it is a bus, but a bus that should only be terminated at each end. If every device has internal termination resistors you've got too many termination resistors, halving the impedance of the bus. Does it happen if the extra equipment is connected but not switched on? (As I'd expect the terminatio...

Re: DTA HAS CEASED TRADING

Please Keep us posted on this thread with any news of what DTA plan to do with their assets.

I'm a DTA user myself, and because of that support the gauge data stream via CAN in our GaugePilot product. It would be good to know when/if DTA is resurrected by a.n.other.

Re: Fuel Pressure.

Firing order correct?

VW using their numbering is 1 4 3 2 not 1 3 4 2. So 3 and 4 leads should be swapped

Re: Valvers Android Dash

The DTA unit doesn't use CAN in a traditional way. It just spews its 16 data channels out over 4 can addresses on a continual basis. Megasquirt does it more "correctly" with a request/response mechanism. Innovate do a product that will send their data stream over WiFi.... But last I looked...

Re: P8 Sequential

Hall sensors switch to ground in general, so you need a pull-up resistor(~1k) to +5V or +12V, on the sensor output. As the sensor is powered and actually outputs a voltage, surely it should not require any pullup ? just the same as MAP, TPS or any other powered sensor ? The hall sensor is very diff...

Re: idle control valve

I've had luck with an idle valve that is standard fitment for the Ford Ka (amongst many other Fords). The bosch unit I tried using had a partially open default position. The Ford unit has a flat plate mounting surface but you can screw NPT threaded pipe barbs into it without any machining :) Easily ...

Re: S40

They also have a mobile version of logworks which is iOS only...

They offer an OT-2 adaptor that routes the serial stream over WiFi that makes this work.

I'll post up some pictures of my display that works from the innovate and DTA streams when I have something cool to show :-)

Re: S40

That sounds fantastic Simon! How much would you be wanting for one? I was looking at Arduino's, and to perhaps make something with a built in SD card for some standalone logging. It pretty much blew my mind trying to get my head round it all though, and then there would be the post processing (Whic...
