Re: S100 shift cut timeouts

Hi Steve.

Sorry for thecdelayedcresponse. Yes it's closed loop. I have been using the gear dependant time table which I now think is a mistake and havecdeselected it. Will see if there is an improvement next time out.

Thanks

John

S100 shift cut timeouts

Can anyone please advise what might cause a high number of shift cut timeouts with an S100 on a 1000cc bike engine? Upshifts from 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 are not always successful. It seems worse in the wet when I am not using full throttle. Any ideas as to what can be adjusted to try to rectify? Thanks J...

Re: S100 Launch RPM

Scratch all of the above. I have found a school boy error in my setup. I needed to tick a box to use pin 18 (Right Lambda) instead of ANA1 for using a separate pot for Launch. 4 years of frustration now solved! Doh!

S100 Launch RPM

I gave an S100 with launch enabled and a pot connected which is supposed to adjust the RPM. Is there any way I can test that the pot is connected correctly and doing what it should in the DTA software? I have another pot connected to ANA1 for adjusting traction control which does show in the softwar...

Re: Shift cut settings - bike engined car

Here you go Rob.

The first image is as the settings were with shift problems (40 deg retard)

The last 2 are my settings as they are now (untried) but with more retard and different chart settings

Thanks

Re: Shift cut settings - bike engined car

Thanks but the gear pot is not in question. It is the correct type for closed loop. My only concern is the settings

Re: Shift cut settings - bike engined car

To clarify, I am using closed loop paddle shift with a dual channel non Suzuki gear pot

@Alex DTA - are you saying that the chart is purely for preventing wheelspin at gear changes and nothing to do with shift cut retard for disengaging gears at gear changes?

Re: Shift cut settings - bike engined car

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Those aren't my settings. Its just the image from the manual I used for illustration. My settings are attached but i get your point. This is why I am asking if this table overrides what is set in the general ignition retard section. If they do, then it would explain the iss...
