This is how I fitted the GT1's to the front driven axle.
I drilled 8x 13mm indentations in the rear face of both disks, and mounted the sensor 1mm above the surface.

Re: Tickovers
Yeah it did sound pretty crap. I thought he may have had a servo operating the throttle so had to ask him when the opportunity arose. After 10 mins I just wanted to reach for the isolation switch.
Tickovers
I was at an event earlier in the year, and there was a turbo charged car next to me idling, the engine revs kept climbing, and falling, sounded like someone was sitting in the car blipping the throttle over and over again. I spoke to the owner, and he said that the ECU was cutting the fuel to make t...

Traction control
Mounted the front axle GT1 sensors and I now would like to get traction control setup. I already had both rear wheel sensors connected.
Any clues as to the settings I need to put in for wet and dry maps?

Re: Flat shifting
Loving E-Race to analyse the data logs. Why have I not used it before? So much easier than trying to plot graphs in Excel

Re: Flat shifting
I reckon it was the firmware. I'll run it again at Santa Pod on Sunday and see if it occurs again.
The settings were wrong. The older v71 PC software let's you enter values in the shift cut screen that simply won't work. V74 prevents that from occurring.

Re: Flat shifting
It works.
I flashed the firmware to v73 and downloaded the v74 Pc software.
I made a correction to the Shiftcut settings and it's now working
Big thanks to Warby for the assistance.
Ran the engine for 25mins and it no longer stalls.

Re: Flat shifting
It was a combination of several things Rob. I have learnt many lessons. Once the Sensor 5V was provided to the sensor, the noise dropped to 40mV. Last night I moved the position sensor ground connection from the ECU case, to the sensor ground pin on the ECU, and hey presto, it cured the noise comple...

Re: Flat shifting
I have cured the noise on ana3. Nice and steady. But when I sit in the car and pull the lever it only stalls the engine when I change from 1st to 2nd. If I try 2-3 or 3-4 or 4-5 nothing happens. And three times whilst ticking over the engine just stalled. Engine cuts out: http://youtu.be/BTlsDYN943Y...
