Re: Feature Request thread ( make sticky )

Mine is also very smooth transition from normal running into fuel cut and back on again mine is set at 1800rpm i think it may be down to how rich or lean you are at specific rpm that it comes on or goes off. Im at 16 afr on most low load sites so i can try get good mpg when in following trafic :D John

Re: Pop n Bang on aspirated engine

No to pop and bang it needs to be lean The flame front is slower mine pops iro afr 16.5 to 17.0 Even at 0 deg timing mine will pop it does your head in sometimes so my fuel has been turned off on overrun To test this you can just lightly touch the throttle on overrun which will re introduce the fuel

Re: Pop n Bang on aspirated engine

You can put negative timing in the main ignition map of s60 as thats what i run in the low kpa loads just above idle

Re: Pop n Bang on aspirated engine

Just set the timing to -10 degrees on overrun and keep fuel turned on

Makes no difference if its nasp or turbo

Re: S40 Driving Electric Water Pump using AUX2 PWM

You need to put a low temperature thermostat in there then to get it at the temperature you want to run. Then when it opens the temperature will be quite stable If you run a 74 deg thermostat by the time it gets to 84 deg it will be fully open so easier for the pump to keep the temperature down when...

Re: S40 Driving Electric Water Pump using AUX2 PWM

I use a similar way but activate it by rpm as the rpm increases so does the duty 800rpm @ 25% to 2500rpm @ 100% i dont seem to get any cavitation on my setup and i also run an 82 degree thermostat so it never overcools . Ive also got a booster pump aswell that would come in at 95 deg and go off at 9...

Re: S60 launch traction and gear postion

Re: S60 launch traction and gear postion

Ive recently just set this up on mine and it works fine. Driven wheel to shift cut pin Work out the gear ratios and distance covered for each gear and activate it. Only issue i have is i need to have slip at 10% and excess slip at 10% eitherwise it dont activate traction control quick enough and jus...
