Re: stc user - new setup, idle setting how?
LOL, so often the case. Glad you're sorted. Two units = 2 com ports. If you have two USB converters you only need one PC with two USB ports, you just need to adjust the com port settings in one of the programs. Set them to different ports once, and you just need to plug them in to the correct USB p...

Re: stc user - new setup, idle setting how?
the "fix" was RTFM - lol the missing bit was I had'nt powered down the throttle and took note of the reported pedal 1,2 & throttle 1,2 readings nor put them into the basic settings in the STC. Now done and readjusted by base pwm settings back to original again, and its idling around th...

Re: anyone using the dta stc control box?
overall termination resistance too low will cause a can error/fail in one of the chain..
i had this on my s60/stc/xdash when i added racetech dash4 to the party.. removed the racetech terminator resistor from its plug and can worked fr all devices. 78 ohms minimum to std rings a bell

stc user - new setup, idle setting how?
hi i'm just getting an s60/stc polo 20v going, and trying to get the stc idle speed controlled. my old ibiza with development stc from allan, has just always worked! so i've never needed to touch an stc until now. the base pwm seemed to be the place to adjust it... idle revs are over 2000rpm.. not i...

Re: XDash,S60,STC + Race-Tech Dash4 & DL1 logger - CAN issue
Hi.. I did type a reply but it did'nt seem to post up.. thought it had yesterday, sorry The problem and its solution were indeed the abundance of terminators on the associated devices.. All of them had one, dropping the resistance down lower than tolerable. However, its has exposed the use of 3 x De...
