Did you change the clutches for exactly the same ones?

The only thing I can think of is that the new clutches are having an affect on the 'background' magnetism. I'd be surprised if they made that much difference though...

Well it looks like the first valve I bought was faulty. Bought another from a local scrappie for £10. Works a bit different to the old one and is proving to be tricky to master. One thing I need to ask... When initially starting the engine, it would fire up without touching the throttle with the OEM...

I have seen the valve open but only momentarily. It was an ebay purchase (£11!) so I have my doubts. I just can't tell at the moment if it's the general engine map that's so far out causing the problems. I'll clean out the valve actuator tonight to see if it frees off.

Good morning chaps, I've got this idle valve fitted to my car (only just fitted the ecu and got the car started) and I've used the map Frank has posted up. Does the fact that Frank has adjusted the internal plate mean this map won't work on a non-adjusted valve? Mine doesn't want to idle at all, but...
