Update: Ok i have checked the 2 wires, one goes to a fused 12v no problems and the other goes to the inj1 pin on the ecu, no breakages or shorts. so i put a LED light over the 2 and when i turn it over , not a flicker. BUT if i test injector function on the mapping screen its flickers with the speed...

took it from the feed to the injector loom . it's a 2 pin plug . the looms and ecu have always been on car and been running the physical engine has been changed . I'm going to check the wiring later like said it's only 2 wires one should be wires to ecu the other is to 12v

I have 6v on the injector loom when ignition on but not turning over is this correct?

I have just 16v my saxo which im using the DTA that was on it before. I have tried to start it on the old 8v and a new 16v base map but cant even get a sniff of starting. My S40 which i connect via RS232 lead if i try update the map or save changes etc, it just fails and i have to keep retrying and on the 5th attempts always works.

any reason why this is?

my S40 im just adding my air temp sensor , the manual says to use pin 29 for sensor ground, can i use any of other pins like 28.13,14.

i dont really want to splice into a wire thats already on that pin when i have a spare earth slot on connector to go straight to.

is there a page to say what the latest firmware has . so I can check if it will be useful to me.

my s40 has got v60.0 firmware o believe v80.0 is the most up to date
. is it worth upgrading and what's the difference?
