Zetec DTA P8PRO: Help needed to configure the TURBO
Hi. I would like to ask for advice on turbo configuration in the ecu and throttle body selection in my zetec turbo project. I'm trying to run a zetec rs engine with small Garrett GT2554R roller bearing turbo on an old DTA P8PRO ecu. Generally the engine is set up properly. The ignition map is identi...

Zetec Turbo Focus mk1 RS map needed
Hello. Does anyone have and would like to share a map for mk1 Focus RS (fuel and ignition map and maybe turbo settings)? I'm looking for something close to standard settings to run own zetec rs turbo project. Something for standard injectors (theese are 440cc I think), std. cams and standard boost p...

P8 Pro and AEM 30-4110 Gauge/Controller Wiring to ANA3 input
Hello. I have a question about connecting AEM wideband controller to P8pro Ecu. In the wiring diargram of the AEM Gauge I see the white wire which is described as "<Analog Output> Connects to any auxiliary unit that accepts a 0-5 volt input. " AEM30-4110wires.jpg In the AEM manual there is...

Throttle Pump Effect in P8pro
Hi. Can somebody explain to me whether the values for pedal speed (0-200) relate to values for throttle stops? Or are they independent? As shown in picture -circled red. I wonder, because before I set pedal speed for RPM range 0-1500 into "5" (now it's "25") and throttle closed p...

Re: P8 PRO: How to set Injector Angle and Cam Sensor Positio
I have a question about crank sensor position in General Engine Settings. I thought that for zetec it's always 90 deg BTDC but I've loaded few zetec maps from DTAwin/DTASwin, (for ST170, zetec 2.0, 1,6 etc.) and there are different figures: Sometimes 72 BTDC, or 83 BTDC or 79? Could you tell me why?...

Re: P8 PRO: How to set Injector Angle and Cam Sensor Positio
ok, important thing:
angles Before TDC (firing stroke) are -360 to 0 and After TDC (firing stroke) are 0 to +360?
or
angles Before TDC (firing stroke) are +360 to 0 and After TDC (firing stroke) are 0 to -360?

P8 PRO: How to set Injector Angle and Cam Sensor Position
Hi to everyone. I was trying to set proper angles for sequetnial injection and cam sensor position. I must say I'm a bit confused. Could anyone explain to me how to count crank angles? Here is a diagram showing 4 stroke cycle ( its from some extraEFI webpage ) http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p75/...
