Sounds like a huge improvement with the suspension, despite the tricky track conditions. Hope your next outing is dry so you can get to push it more and explore how it behaves with more grip; it's a good sign if you were gaining confidence with the car in such poor conditions.

Re: Audi A3 Hill Climb car
Scanning through the logs for work related, I spotted something that's given me some more confidence in the brakes.
I locked up twice under braking in the log I was looking at. On both occasions, only the front wheels locked, never the rears.

If you suffer with screen misting over in the wet then just buff a bit of washing up liquid/hand soap from the toilet block on the inside of the windows with a paper towel, spread it as thin as you possibly can and it'll stop the steaming up for most of the day.
Have to use that trick often as no demister in the world keeps up if you have a stream crossing halfway through the stage

That's a useful tip, thanks.
I've got some RainX on the way.

I tried the rain-x anti-fog stuff but I didn't find it much use.

Ok then, don't use it in the cold or in rain! LOL! Remember a heater can be a performance enhancement - extra cooling can help sometimes!Alex DTA wrote:But race car!stevieturbo wrote:Useful tip....put a heater in it ! lol

Yeah, I know. It was one of those things that came out at some point, and just didn't go back in .
I'd prefer a heated screen if I can get one. If not, I'll fit a heater.

And the ability to see out the window helps you go faster too....as well as not getting frozen in colder weather ! lolkatana wrote:Ok then, don't use it in the cold or in rain! LOL!
