I use a DL1 data logger from http://www.race-technology.com/home_2.html and an ECU interface to read data direct from my P8 DTA. I use a cheap go-pro camera (they do their own 1 box solution but its £+++++) and then you can import the video into the race-technology software to make the video with the dial overlay, speed, rpm etc. It's not that easy to do and I only do it for fun. Its the data I find fascinating, what you think happened is not what the DL1 thinks. Like I thought I was just lifting a little for a corner but was braking! The DL1 has 3 acceloromiters built in and GPS and has 8 analog inputs as well as being able to read ecu data. They are probably the cheapest in the market and have an offer on for Christmas!
