Been a bit slack on the car. Doing the 2 things I hate most recently (wiring and fibreglass)

Rain and brake lights fitted. Ground effect aero just being glassed in.

Been a little slow but just finishing up the body.

New poly windscreen has now been fitted, planning to have the car wrapped in next month then hit the track. Still have a bit of body reinforcement to get finished.

Not much fun stuff to update as still finishing the body and aero work.

I had a chance discussion with NZ's most popular performance car magazine and 10 days later is in the magazine and a feature is planned once complete.

Nothing like free publicity to get my backside back in the garage and get me focused on finishing

Yeah they are a great little car. Design by Bruce Turnbull here in New Zealand. He was telling me a few months ago that he built the first one 20 years ago this year.

This car is custom chassis to fit the hayabusa engine and the rocker suspension. All up this car is 600kg where I think a normal Saker is around 850kg

Thanks

Yeah I definitely like the front end of The Rapx and the rear lights are very cool also.

My only concern was the rear seems a little squarer and I wondering if it gets any flow seperation as a result. I mentioned it to Bruce too

Have you done side by side tests of the new and old bodies to compare drag?

My rear wing is off the back not in the normal position also

Getting to the last of the bits now.

Car is currently off getting wrapped. Base colour going down at the moment. Car's looks great in my eyes and is a milestone as its not been one colour for 5 years
