Re: Hayabusa Turbo Kitcar
That's going to be a seriously fast car.
Re: Hayabusa Turbo Kitcar
Thanks
I hope so. the tyres are Formula atlantic soft compounds and rims are off an atlantic. The wheels savings compared to my previous 3 piece simmons mags are like 3-4kg a wheel
Great way to get magnesium rims cheap

wow this just keeps looking better and better
Re: Hayabusa Turbo Kitcar
Many thanks.
Finally tested asll the sensors ready to put some E85 in it and see if it starts. Started the motor beofre we put it in the car but have not had the engine running in car now for a couple of years. Will be exciting when this happens.
Only issue on testing was that the fan ran backwards. That's been reversed now

Re: Hayabusa Turbo Kitcar
I had a problem with a car a few years back where the cooling fan motor had been reversed as it was a pusher fan that should have been fitted in front of the radiator but had been fitted behind the radiator. Although the fan and rotation now looked correct, the angle of the blades somehow made it absolutely useless at pulling air through the rad. Out on the road it was actually worse for overheating when the fan was running than when it wasn't.proutyc wrote:Many thanks.

You got such a nice motor there that I wouldn't want it to overheat. Just double check the fan motor and the blade is correct together.

Thanks Wally.
Fan is a pulling fan org off a Gen2 Hayabusa. Hoping it only gets used on the dumby grid before we hit the track.
