Ok I'm using the oem connectors just soldering to the wiring loom. I have another question. I'm using the pencil coils and there wired in series are they 6volts.

Are you saying the OEM coils and wiring are wired in series, or this is how you have wired them ?

I would be very surprised if any modern OEM car coil was 6v, and equally surprised if they wired coils in series.

Although the french do strange things at times

Actually wired in series, or they just fire as wasted spark ? It isnt the same thing.

Either way, it makes no difference as far as the DTA is concerned. If all the wiring is factory, and you are just replacing the ecu, ie coil triggers, then just leave as is.

I split them and run each cylinder to its own output. Car won't start.

So presumably if they are wired in series, yes they would be getting 6v each.

They'd probably still work for a while at 12v anyway

Presumably they are normal inductive coils as they'd have to be if wired in series ? ie no external amps

So can you get a spark when you perform a spark test ?

Yes They sent them up in pair as waste spark and it's running.

Still having problems with this it won't run if I wire each coil and can't control the cam shaft. It's reading the cam shaft. The tuner had it it permenatly wired with 12v but it's lacking torque and is making 3 bhp less now than on the std ecu.
