Snap On Solus Pro 14.2

Post by grant620 »

Hi Guys,
I'm upgrading my diagnostic machine, so have for sale my Snap On Solus Pro.
It's in exceptionally good condition, still has the protective screen cover on it, comes with 2 batteries and a charger, all of the "keys" and is on the 14.2 software (2014, 2nd qtr).
It's a fantastic bit of kit and has been invaluable over the last 18 months.
Only selling due to needing a model with a scope...

Any trial welcome and I can show you around it any time

Looking for £729 ono.
Based in Somerset.

I would be very carefull when buying anything with a scope included, as the quality and functions available will probably not be anywhere near as good as a Picoscope.

Plus IMO it's very handy to have a scope on it's own so you can view/diagnose things...as well as viewing other live data/codes on a scanner.

And I'd say a PC based scope will be slightly more versatile too, and be able to store more waveforms and data

I have a pico scope, probably a bit old now but it's brilliant and not very expensive. I don't use it often but is invaluable.

I've looked...and looked...and looked...and looked...lol at scopes.

If I was to use it regularly, there's no question the Pico would be the one to buy.

There are many cheap scopes out there and I have one myself. it's still functional, it's still useful, but the software is just crap.

Software aimed at automotive use would be a huge help and far more useful. I'd also really like the cylinder pressure transducer for "compression" testing etc.
But it does offer so much more information than compression, especially if the software lets you overlay a 0-720 reference chart for crank position

Pico's is a fortune, this place seems to sell one far far cheaper
