i don't know what else to do with the idle thing...i have try anything i can.
the best results is without PID loops just PWM.

i think with more suitable idle valve it would be more easy...

when i have 5 degrees advance in 750 and 1000rpm idle is at 1400rpm without PID loops.so reduce advance at 3 and idle is at 1100.i try PID loops several options but nothing better happens.

also "minimum duty cycle allowed" how much must be, it has to do with stable idle or not ?

1. fill 20x14 with 45s
2. turn loop off
3. set hot idle on stops to 150rpm above target
4. turn loop on and with correct freq. and sensible pid to pull down to target

^that's all's i did when i last put my massive-ass comedy-sized bosch valve in.

Jeeeeeesus.

If you have 5 deg of advance in the 750 and 1000rpm load sites, that will have nothing to do with what timing the engine has at 1400rpm, because it's in a 1400rpm load site.

And as Ive already very clearly said, and seem to have ignored, if the idle valve is set to zero and idle is still to high, ether close the throttle more or fix the air leak !

And some valves when set to zero can do funny things. It's better to have them powered at say only 5%
But it's very easy to test and see what happens. Have you tried it at zero ? does anything strange happen ?

No amount of ecu settings will ever fix a bad mechanical setup. So fix that first.

my cells are 750rpm, 1000rpm, 1100rpm, 1500rpm, 2000rpm etc

so 1400rpm will have the same amount of advance as 1100rpm...when i have 5 degrees at 750, 1000 and 1100 idle is at 1400rpm when i decrease advance at 3 degrees idle goes at 1100rpm

optimal minimum duty cycle is in the instruction book. along with everything else relevant.

to get to 1400 it must go 'through' the others. it does not magically 'jump'.

1100@3=yes
1100-1400increase@3=no
1100@5=yes
1100-1400increase@5=yes

set to 5 to provide enough engine power for cold days and come out of the ignition map and stay out of it.

set 20x14 grid all full of 45s, set hot idle back down on stops (still with valve active at 45) to 150 above target, switch on loop...

Agreed, but before he even considers switching on closed loop...at least put in some sensible parameters in the PID settings.

agreed. my instruction book says 40, 20, 0 - spot on with the wacky loop delay feature

I filled my own table with 55s, loop delay set to 0.5 and PID # of 100-11-0. The 40-20-0 wasn't fast enough for me, I'd get idle swings when I blipped the throttle. These # helped quite a bit but the biggest factor was the 20X14 filled with the same PWM number...
OP, you need to listen to Stevie and the others, seems you're all over the place with this. Start by making sure you have NO air leaks and a functionning ICV. Then you can start repopulating your PWM table and trying some of the #'s were suggesting.

i have post my idle maps at page 3...PWM i think is fine but for some reason does not keep idle at cold start i have try your suggestions.

throttle is totally closed and i can't think something else for air leak

thanks all of you for your time
