I am after a starting map for a 1999 Subaru WRX.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think Rocar was working on one a while back, but pretty sure he made his own triggers.
AFAIK DTA does not support the pre 2001 trigger setup on a Subaru.
Standard map sensor is only circa 1.6-1.7 bar

I was worried you might say something like that and the crank/cam trigger. I will check with Allan on Monday.
Already updated the map sensor.

Re: Starting map for 1999 Subaru WRX
the trigger selection in the current software only applies to 2001+ from it's description
That said, if you were keen enough and can source a suitable cam pulley from a 2001+ car, you could easily swap the crank/cam pulleys.
Early 2001 non AVCS WRX cam pulley will fit onto your 99/00 camshaft no problem, as will the crank trigger.
99/00 uses a stepper for idle control, so you cant use that though. Coil pack should be fine and it has an amp built in, it's a decent coil pack too.

Re: Starting map for 1999 Subaru WRX
After speaking to Allan I can now appreciate why the DTA does not support the earlier crank/cam pattern - there simply is not enough teeth on the crank.
We have updated the crank and cam choppers to that of the 2001 WRX.
Anyone have a start map for one of those?
Thanks.

Sorry, cant help. Surely once you have crank and cam setup working, the rest should be handy enough ?
I do work at a fair few Subarus, but when tuning, always opt for plug n play units. There are some superb value ones here in the UK that work very very well.
