Hello,
I'm in France and I have a problem with my engine , it has no power at low speeds(revs).
engine is a bmw m3 3.2l (s50b32) full stock ,except the vanos which is fixed on the
exhaust cam.
all the mechanical and hydraulic vanos works correctly(tested).
ecu is an S80
I think the cam function is not configured correctly.
could someone tell me how to configure it as an stock engine (s50b32).
thanks very much.
sorry for the spelling mistakes, I do not speak English too !!!

Re: problem map
Try using the S50B32 base map from DTA, it looks like you've used the S50B30 one? The Cam settings appear to be different.
Engine Config threw an error saying "S100 needed for this mode" also.
I haven't worked with VANOS myself so was just curious if I could spot anything.
Hopefully the settings from the S50B32 map help, the tables are filled out more than the S50B30 map.

Re: problem map
Is the exhaust cam in the fully advanced position? That would explain the lack of power at low revs.
The only way to optimise this now is on a rolling road. As you've fixed the exhaust cam, you're going to be down on power somewhere until you remap the ECU to suit.

hi
when looking around , I saw that ,The actual cam advance does not follow the target cam in real time chart ?
the came advance is not regular, there is a lot of variation.
