Re: locked map
there is only 9999 options, won't take long to crack it!
seriously apparently there is a global pin unlock code, do a search on here to try and find it. you need this to change the map.

Re: locked map
I thought that universal one only worked on older ecu's ?
There are various threads about locked ecu's though.
If all else fails, try usual simple number combos, 1234, 1111 etc, who knows, you might get lucky.

Re: locked map
You will have to return it to DTA to be unlocked, they do not charge for this job you just have to pay the carriage, that is the problem with locked ecu,s when they get moved on to another user.

Re: locked map
It would be a nice feature to be able to do a reset to remove any lock.
That way yes you'd have to start from scratch again, but the user wouldnt be stuck having to send it away
I'd still be trying numbers first though...you'd get there eventually lol

Re: locked map
Starting at 0000 as last time the number was 2679 or was it 2769? Dunno, not checked since I've gone to the latest firmware
Re: locked map
I would start at 0000 after all it is the nearest to 2679
