Yeah I've seen them with V8's in. I can believe they are lighter, the Porsche engine is all alloy but it's seriously heavy.

I've been driving the car for sometime now, running really well. I have a question about the loging data though. When I play back the log, my RPM seems to be out of sync with the throttle value, see attched picture.

Any ideas why this would happen?

Very strange, viewed as a jpeg it looks fine but in megalogviewer the rpm increases after the pedal returns to zero.

Yes it does, DTA records backwards. Just select load file in reverse

Continuing with refining my car I'm looking to install electronic throttle control. The 911 throttle linkage is made up of multiple rods and ball joints, all of which make for a stiff pedal when linked to 6 throttle bodies.

I've looked on this forum but have found little info on the throttle controller setup. Can anyone recommend an actuator to go with the DTA controller ? Is the Jenvey motor good ?

I've added DTAdroid using an android tablet and must say its an excellent addition, logging with gps synced playback of the log is amazing.
