Hello,
is it possible to controll modern engines like a BMW S1000 RR with a DTA Ecu?
The engine has 4 cylinder and 8 injectors, 4 at the throttle boddy and 4 at the airbox.
regards Stefan

I got this old E48 in my turbobike (Suzuki GSX1100e -81)
And the system is build with 8 injectors.
4 of them runs all the time and rest 4 of them comes along when the rpm hits over 5000.

Will work fine with staged injector setup.

Thank you for your fast answers.
I have a DTA S80, how can I fill the field "Number of Injectors per Cylinder"?
Regards Stefan

I guess you have to fill the field "number of cylinders" first.

Re: DTA ECU: 4cylinder->8 injectors
You don't do it there any more, there's a proper twin injector set up under Essential Map Settings -> Twin Injector Settings.
If you're keeping the standard S1000RR injectors, you will need to use the 20 x 14 blend map. Make sure the values are all 0% in the blend map, and the ECU will use the first injectors until 100% duty cycle is reached, and then bring in the second set of injectors.
If you want to switch between the two, also use the blend map, but set the percentages based on how much you want to use the first set of injectors vs the second set.

Re: DTA ECU: 4cylinder->8 injectors
Thank you.
It is a S1000 RR HP4 engine, after the week I will get the engine.
I will build a new airbox, exhaust-system and I will use the original injectors.
Regards Stefan

Re: DTA ECU: 4cylinder->8 injectors
I have a start up map if that's of any use?
Re: DTA ECU: 4cylinder->8 injectors
Wouldn't it be better to mark everything 80% so duty doesn't exceed 80% to allow cooling - always told 100% injector duty not good?Alex DTA wrote:
