you cant run true vvt (constant variable) with S40

with s40 you can only run vvt as on-off mode, totaly closed and totaly open without mid range position for vvt

so if you connect it on pin 10 then you need to calibrate it through the software...and open it at any rpm you want...

path : other map setting -> cam functions -> cam parameters/ vtec control

tick vtec control on and then set the rpm

OR

you can use one of the other AUX pins like aux 6 if you dont use it for tacho

Hi Aldo

You can't do that with the standard VTEC control, as that just opens the valve at a certain RPM and throttle position.

You have two options. Both will need a relay.

Use AUX2, if you're not using turbo or fan control.
You can then turn on the valve at 2500 RPM, and turn it off again at 7000 using the main screen, and also limit it to throttle by using the secondary input.

If you can't use that, you can use AUX 5 or 6, set the On At to 2500, Off At to 7000, with a hysteresis of 25 or so.
