No. However I recall Allan telling me there was plenty of ecu's surviving poorly executed 24v starting systems :)
I think anything up to 18v would be ok so long as the battery was still connected, it would provide a voltage damper.

Mayhbe there are some external setups out there that could shut things down ?

Although in over 25 years of driving...I've only ever had one car exhibit such an overcharging scenario...and although those cars didnt have much by way of fancy electronics, most noticeable thing was the reek from the overcharged battery...plus it killed batteries.

I started thinking why my engine bogs at 5000 rpm when hot, i have new plugs, coils, an no cranck or cam sensor errors. And i have tryed som fuel adjustments, Its alvays the same, it runs hard the first laps and then start to bog. The i remembered that when reving the engine high the "battery gauge" in Real Tine Display starts blinkin read.

I was about to test and see the volt spices to day but as it is sunday i had to consider the neighboers :?

ECU is protected against over-voltage up to about 18v constant. Spikes can be higher.

Car worked fine with new volt regulator :) No bogging or misfire, other than hitting the rev limiter. Been running it hard on the lake ice track all day. Anyone who want to se som video from today ? Just have to mix the video first

Thanks for the help all :)
