Hi all.
i'm new to all this programmable ecu marlarky.

I have a Ford Escort G3 fitted with an all steel Vauxhall 2.0 xe with 45 dcoe's , cams etc. Car came with a DTA E48 but was down on power and with an event coming up I borrowed an already mapped MBE ecu from a mate to get me through event, I got fuelling pretty much spot on (for a pair of DCOE's) maybe running slightly rich to be safe.
Anyway car went well on MBE swapped back to my DTA and bought a laptop hook up lead to view map. map shows 50degs at 6.5k surely that's at time bomb?
I have a TPS sensor fitted.
below is a picture of map

i'm thinking i'll load the standard map saved in dta fast software and work from there, unless anyone have an xe ignition map suitable for my car.

Also how to I get live trace up on screen? when I opened real time mapping I had a a selection of small windows as shown

the live trace ignition and a fuel tables were there when I first opened , I clicked them to see if they'd open up and they disappeared?? how to I get them back? there is no option in the drop down menus

Photobucket is not allowing your photos.

And any single screenshot can be misleading...upload the entire map.

Get yourself a Browser Photobucket extension Steve - they show fine for me!

The 50 degrees values are at low load and high RPM, so will be fine.

Attached is a screen settings from my PC, which should fix the display problem.
