V62 Release:- 3D Pressure Target Maps
1) V62 Allows the use of 20 x 14 main target manifold pressure maps for both of the switchable maps.
2) Map two can now be selected without any qualifying parameters simply on switch position.
3) A maximum cut percentage parameter is added to traction control to eliminate complete engine switch off in slippy conditions.
4) Flexible Analogue/Auxiliary combinations now have a second user choosable switching qualifier.
5) Fan control hysteresis is user selectable.
6) Aux 4 can be divorced from the map switching action freeing it for other use.
7) Auxiliaries 4 to 9 have a new selection process.
8) The GM 4 bar sensor has been added to the pre-set options in MAP sensor calibration.

I love how all the Aux outputs have been rewritten. It's so much tidier.
Switchable hysteresis is useful too but we also need it to detect engine rotation so that the fans don't run when you load up DTASwin after a run.

Re: V62 Released: 3D Pressure Target Maps and More Aux! 10/3
I know - I mentioned that a couple times that the fan should run with the ECU on but car off. I can understand SOME people would like the fan to run with the ignition key on but not most.
I think what I'll do is move my fan pin from Fan Relay to Fuel Pump Relay and configure it as Aux 7 with water temps to do what I need - what more can you ask for! One of the annoying things about having the fan run with key-on is that a high current fan can emit some pretty strong magnetic fields that are being picked up by my crank sensor with the engine off so now it won't have to worry about sorting crank vs cam.

like a lot of other systems, most functions are programmable to do what you want. much better than fixed one use connections.

Sorry for posting this stupid question:
My DTA S60 is v53 and I would like to update it to the newest version. How do I do it and will I loose my current map?
Thanks a lot!

BB its best to save your map out of the ECU to your computer. Then you need to make or modify your serial cable for a push button or switch to enable flashing mode.
You will lose your settings I believe, but obviously you just open your map once in the new software.

I think Aux 3 would work better. You could switch it on and off with water temp as normal and also take a second input from say, rpm, and set it to only come on above 100rpm or something.Jon K wrote:I know - I mentioned that a couple times that the fan should run with the ECU on but car off.
