Thanks for the link Alex.

Lohmann have been back in touch. Their unit (MCT-Lohmann FSM evo) cuts the positive feed to all the coils. With the lack of time between now and the next race we may well just give this a try if it's not going to harm the dta. We have used this unit with the stock ecu and it worked very well with that, we were not aware of it causing sporadic firing when the supply was cut when shifting, so no reason to assume it will with the dta.

They also gave us the pin out for the load cell (which they sell on its own to replace O/E units). This needs a 5v feed and has a variable output dependant on push/pull pressure across the cell with a 0 to 5v O/P. It has no output up to 15kg pedal pressure then reaches 5v at 25kg pedal pressure and above, these outputs have been selected to suit the standard shift mech on the rr. This may be a project for the winter and a way to have complete control over the shifting strategy.

Just to close this thread, the Lohmann shift cut worked perfectly with the DTA.
