Hi, I am putting togeather an ice trak budget car with carbourator. This car has an distributor and coil, and an ecu telling the distributor when to fire. Burt i have no controll over that. If i was to keep the coil an dirstributor what was the easyes and cheepest way to get a spark? Would i need a 60-2 trigger or just one point for eatch cylinder with a pickup ???

All help is good :)

cheapest way to get a spark...is with a coil and distributor lol.

DTA's S40i would be their cheapest offering.

Would need at least a crank trigger and map sensor or throttle position sensor.

Megajolt would be another option, Nodiz, Spitronics

The likes of a 36-1 or 60-2 type wheel would be the better option for a trigger though, vs trying to use the distributor. Not sure if the S40 can even use a dizzy only trigger.

You'd probably be better throwing a 4 tower or similar coilpack onto it anyway, and stop using the dizzy altogether, unless you need to retain this for appearances or something
