Pretty much the same with the scope open, nothing recorded on the scope.
Im logged in with laptop for this message, cannot upload pics from here.
Scope opened, set to gather
Then I opened Funtions window, coil test is already ticked.
Clicked start button, nothing on scope.
Once the start button has been clicked it and all other functions are disabled, I also ticked injectors nothing happens, untick injectors and the injectors start clicking, stop engine then appears I have to exit functions window.
All through the above nothing is recorded on the scope, I will upload pics when back on PC later if it helps

Re: S60 Boost control
Do you have the latest soft and firmware
Re: S60 Boost control
The ECU was mapped about 2006 so that would be the last opportunity for it to be updated, I expect it is out of date and could well be the problem.
It was a long time ago I fitted it, it has been 100% reliable and not had any reason to touch it since so I am a bit rusty with all the systems, the last thing I want to do is disturb any settings.
I do need to get it re mapped though, it now has a bigger turbo and different exhaust set up and I want the DTA to control boost.

Re: S60 Boost control
It might be an old firmware issue, which explains why I can't reproduce it.
Whats the firmware version number?

Re: S60 Boost control
Holy Moly, that's old. I'm pretty sure that's your problem.
Re: S60 Boost control
Do you have a link to the procedure for installing the latest version?
Pretty sure I have the necessary leads
Is there any risk of disturbing the installed map when updating?
Thanks

Re: S60 Boost control
You will need a lead with a switch installed, diagram shows where it needs to go.
Re: S60 Boost control
I have these leads but cannot connect.
My ECU is mounted behind the dash and not easy to get to. Initially I tried through the box lead as an extension so it was easy to operate the switch and ignition together but after 30 mins gave up in case the box was causing the problem, I unmounted the ECU to get it hanging into the footwell then connected the switch lead direct, this was not easy to operate with ignition at the same time, another 30 mins of the same message and aching ribs I stopped for a rethink. Just as a test I tried to connect with no lead fitted and got the same message.
I will test the switch lead to confirm it is working then have another go.
