S40 help

Hopefully someone can help
Ive not used my car on some time and I’ve recently
Got it all up and running
The problem I have is when you give it full throttle
It bogs down and sounds like it’s misfiring/holding back
It seems to happen at 3k ish and will clear around 4-4.5k
The last time I was using this car we was setting up flat shift
I’ve since then changed the gearbox and done away with flat shifting
If this option was still set on the ecu without sensors connected could this be causing my issues?
