As the title says, is there any way I can check if my DTA s60 is defect or not?
The problem atm, is that I can't get ignition switched on. A few fuses have been replaced, some wiring aswell - but no luck so far..
Ways to check if my DTA is defect or not?
Re: Ways to check if my DTA is defect or not?
There are several self diagnostic operations and realtime info in DTASwin.
But if you have burned fuses and wires, it may be that ecu is also destroyed. Sounds really bad. Hard to say more exactly without knowing what is the real situation.

Wire a spare power connector with just +12V and ground and see if you can connect to it with no external influences. If not it's probably U/S, contact DTA they might do you a good deal on a replacement board ?

You are saying you can get ignition switched on. That isnt the same thing as you cannot detect if the ecu has powered up.
Is the ecu installed and wired up correctly ? Does the fuel pump prime on key on ? Does the laptop have any communication with the ecu ?
Do you even have any power and ground at the ecu connectors ?
Your issue is too vague.
