hi nice to see this site is up and running after trying so long to get onto the old site ( thanks jon )
I have a high comp will be low boost remote turbo k series ( rover ) its up and running but will require remapping due to changing induction, exhaust, cam timing ,flywheel, throttle bod , charge cooling and fitting a turbo ( from supercharger ) ect ect
I have a marko dash and this tell me what the ecu sees but should I have any other information, as a safety precaution , I was thinking of the phormula knock device
http://www.phormula.co.uk/KnockDetection-KS-3.aspx
reason being maybe this device could be set up at the same r/road to give an accurate reading ?
is this something I should fit or is it just something else to worry about ?

Re: advice on gauges
Always use the best fuel you can.
Normal UL really is crap. Map it on 97 and then run on -power for a little extra safety if you want.
But if its mapped correctly, then it should be safe regardless

Re: advice on gauges
We dont get anything but 95 or 97 here, so it isnt really an issue.
And I'd say if BP pull out, even getting 97 will become difficult !
