My plan is to use ALS but switch it on/off via a steering wheel button wired into AUX2. I have EGT probe, 0-5v wired into ana2 so i can switch AUX2 off when EGT gets too high.
I can't see a problem with this but do you think i should use a relay and keep the chassis ground and sensor grounds seperate or should i just wire the ALS switch straight into AUX2.
Many thanks.

Re: ALS/MAP2 wired straight into AUX
I dont think you're really mixing grounds there ? So not much to worry about.
Aux2 is an output though ? usually for the fan output ?
ALS on/off via a switch has it's specific shared input, ie ALS/MAP2/CL Lambda etc
So not really sure what you're proposing ?

Pin 15 (ALS on) on the sensor loom to pin 4 (Aux 2) on the power loom with a switch in between to turn ALS on.
Ana 2 will be EGT (0-5v) and only switch Aux 2 on when the exhaust is cool enough.
