I was using it for pre-turbine pressure, so it was mounted remotely after about 3ft of brake pipe and then a short piece of rubber hose with a MIG tip inside to dampen it a little.
Really no excuse for it to have failed there, but 2 did !
Hence the cheap chinese 3 bar which installed exact same way has lived very happily. Although ideally I'd need a 4 bar as on occasion the 3 bar gets pegged so not sure how much it's exceeding max by.
Will change it before TOTB probably as it's only place I use enough boost to peg the sensor.
But totally agree, always remote mount the sensors.
