MEAS oil & fuel pressure sensor driving me nuts

Maybe someone can help me?
I have spent too much time without progress so now time to ask for help. :-)
I have mounted one each of these MEAS 0-10 bar transducers for fuel and oil press.
Not so strange at all but I cannot get the DTA S60 to play along.
Or rather, I cannot get the transducer to tell DTA 0-5V.
I have tried many variations and I have tried with a pulldown resistance too. I can get a signal for DTA to react but only static.

The Pictures show the previous function one of the sensors had on an simple American FI called CB Quicktune. It worked fine.
I measure 4.9 volt on the DTA loom output to the sensor but I cannot get anything else than 0 V out of the signal wire (White). Both sensors I have, do the same.
i.e. DTA says FAILED.
Should I simply give up and buy DTA sensors? Not my style. I wish to know what I am doing wrong.

Sensor is MEAS MSP-300-100--P-3-N-1

have you selected the DTA 10bar sensor from the dropdown list? are you using pin 6 for fuel pressure signal ?

You dont need any resistors, once you have 5v+ and ground on the sensor the output voltage should be as per the voltage chart when you select a 10bar sensor assuming you have 3 bar pressure then you should get around 1.75v.

you can test the dta by connecting a potentiometer in place of the pressure sensor or even 2 fixed resistors, say 1.5K and 3.5K between ground and +5v and connect the junction to pin 6, as long as you have the dta 10 bar selected it should show the pressure.

hope this helps,

Faulty sensor or incorrect wiring I'd suspect. With 0V and 5V on the correct wires, you should have between 0.5V and 4.5V on the output. As you can see.

Thanks for very quick feedback. I have tried both my sensors and they give same result.
Yes, I have tried both the VDO and the 10 bar DTA scaling.
I have a couple of potentiometers and maybe someting in that range, (also a bunch of fixed resistors of 270 ohm that I could set in series) could try that but so far I am 99%, it is a wiring issue on my side of the sensors.

The pins are correct and tested. Martin, you built me the loom. :-) Nice one too!

That's a 100psi sensor, so roughly 0 - 7 bar. You'll need to scale it correctly.

What's the fourth wire for? Green wire, marked Cut Off?

Yes a 100psi. If I just get a 0-5V signal, I will scale it.
Fourth green cable just means it is used when the transducer is used for option #1 & #2.
Could it be that in fact both my units are wrongly tagged unit... you never know. Soon I will give up and buy at least the fuel unit from you guys at DTA.

There's no reason that shouldn't work, as long as it's the unit you think it is.

Are you testing it with the engine running?

I remember installing my oil pressure transducer, it wouldn't work unless the engine was running. Bloody annoying when you want to calibrate the thing.

the DTA unit sensors inputs work without the engine running. The aux outs don't generally.

Im 99% sure my oil pressure won't register unless the engine is running, I remember because i tried to calibrate the sensor with the ignition on and convinced myself the sensor was dud, anyway once the engine was running it came into life.

I'll double check on the car tomorrow.
