Hi Guys,
Short question, after rebuilding the car, my DTA is throwing cam errors. Mapping or wiring hasn't changed so I'm looking at faulty wiring/connectors/sensors or trigger.
Is there any way of knowing which of my two cam sensors throws the errors? (haven't got spare sensors lying around at the moment).
S100 ECU;
exhaust cam wired to cam1 (pin23), hall effect
inlet cam wired to cam2 (pin29), hall effect
aux1 controls the inlet cam
(Honda K-series engine)
When looking through the datalog, cam target and cam advance actually match up decently so control seems to work fine.
Car throws about 5000 errors in 50 minutes time, number builds up both at low and high rpm.
thanks!

Re: Cam errors - specific?
I'm guessing the cam errors refer to the actual cam trigger...ie for sequential operation, rather than cam errors for any VVT type operation ?
I guess a quick test, unplug the VVT one and see what happens ?
Sync Scope ?
Were the triggers or sensors moved or adjusted in any way during the rebuild ?
