S40 fuel injection. Question
S40 fuel injection. Question
Hi guys , just wired up my S 40. The question is, I have 12 volts showing at the injecter plug as the main feed but 6 volts showing from pins 8 and 9 on the Ecu. Should I have voltage showing from the ecu. Is this correct.

Re: S40 fuel injection. Question
With the injector connected you are reading the same 12v but just through the resistance of the injector hence the reduced voltage.
I think you need to clarify that you have all components attached?
Or just run an injector test via 'display and test functions' this will quickly reveal any issues.

Re: S40 fuel injection. Question
Hi Rob, thanks for the quick reply. I worded the question badly so just to clarify I meant the loom plug not the injector plug ie before I have connected to go live so to speak. So what I have is a Citroen six point loom connector showing 12 volts on the two centre terminals and 6 volts on the two outer terminals with the ignition turned on but not cranking.
