I have managed to find the BMW pin outs now, just the Citroen throttle pedal to go.

BMW
1 = Enable connection
2 = 12V / Terminal Bar 87
3 = Ground / Terminal bar 31
4 = Ident. connection
5 = Can Low
6 = Can High
7 = Sensor 1 / Analog
8 = Sensor 1 / Ground
9 = Sensor 1 / Supply 5V

I think in the DTA instructions it asks to check with the office that the combination of these two devises is compatible with the STC,

E92 M3 won't work, it requires CAN bus information we don't have.
You can bypass that and just wire the STC directly to the motor, as it's identical to the one used in the S54.

I can't help with the Peugeot one.

Thanks Alex, so just use the connections that are in the STC Manual for the BMW?

Well, i have finally wired up all the bits today, but my laptop with Windows 10 won't connect to the STC controller, but my mates toughbook with RS232 and windows 7 it can connect.

Is this because i have windows 10?

Thanks

more likely whatever USB adapter you're using, or how it's configured. Troublesome little buggers they are.

Thanks Stevie. I downloaded the latest drivers for the adaptor as well, but it still wasn’t having any of it.

I didn’t connect the STC can bus to the ecu, will this still allow us to step up the parameters in the stc software or will it stop stc working correctly?

W10 is fine. Check USB driver settings are correct.
Windows current USB driver doesn't work, so use the two guides in the downloads section of the website to sort them.

You can connect to the STC and sort all the basic settings without the CAN connected, but the throttle won't operate until it sees an ECU over the CAN connection.
