Crank signal
Hi guys, new to this stuff so any help much appreciated.
I have an s40 pro running on a Renault Megane f7r engine which I need to get up and running. I have borrowed a map off someone on this site for an f4r engine as a base to get me going.
My problem is that the Megane engine uses a 60-2 tooth pattern and the f4r engine is different,so I have changed the numbers in the settings to suit but I am unable to change anything in the ‘map mode’ section and when I do the crank oscilloscope it comes up with a horrible graph,so am thinking it’s because of the Clio f4r map mode??
I am pretty sure the wiring is good??
What do I need to do please?

Re: Crank signal
posting the oscilloscope result would be a start.
or showing us the settings/map you used.

Re: Crank signal
surprised the screenshot or saved file would be big at all.
if this forum wont accept them, just use a generic image host site

Re: Crank signal
upload the photo, and then copy and paste the weblink.
Re: Crank signal
Or get crank scope image on your screen, press 'Print Screen' button on key board, then open 'MS Paint' and click 'paste' - screen shot will open. Then go to 'File' and click 'save as' - give it a name and save on desktop or in downloads folder. Come back to this thread, add a post and add the saved image then post - job done.
