Piggybacking wideband lambda controller signal for S40/Dash2

Post by Ponk »

I've recently bought a Race Tech Dash 2 and i'm trying to figure out how to connect everything up.

I'm going to use a CAN interface for my S40 so most information will be taken straight from the ecu. At the moment i'm using a seperate KMS wideband lambda display/controller but i'd like to be able to display the AFR information via the Dash 2.

Does anyone know if I can splice the output from the wideband sensor into either the DTA or Dash 2?

I think you should use the 0-5v lambda output from the KMS into the DTA and then read the reading on the Dash 2 via the DTA to Dash 2 CAN interface. Don't use the extra KMS display you can display all the info on the dash 2 including setting alarms.

Perfect. Then I can put the display/controller out of sight, leave it controlling the lambda and just hijack the signal for the DTA.

Thanks!
