Ana2, Aux2 and fan control

I think I may have got myself confused here!
Running an S80 Pro
I have fan control enabled, which I believe takes over AUX2 (Output)
However, I really need to run a compensation map based off an analogue input, which will apply fuel and ignition compensations at certain input readings. Am I right in thinking I can still use Ana2 for this, as it's a INPUT only, and not being used to control the AUX2 output?
And if that's the case, the set up tab work some thing like: Function Active is ticked, but AUX 2 Active Unticked?
