Re: Confused...please help
2 seconds of google http://www.mmcompsys.com/uploads/mediac ... or_v02.pdf shows these are 14.5ohm so high impedance, no resistor required.

Motec can configure it so it activates when road speed = 0 and throttle above whatever you choose.Antral wrote:No.

but it is very clear if anyone bothered to read the manual or looked at the software you do require a switch for DTA.
Of course...that assumes his "mapper/installer" has even wired in a switch ?
Re: Confused...please help
i was thinking something like Motec...that's why i ask...
i know about DTA that needs a switch but i ask to be sure...

Re: Confused...please help
about the fans control in AUX pin that in my case is the variable camshaft...is it possible to connect somewhere else or in an other way the fans control ?
cause i think that is maybe the only thing that the stack ecu controls now and if it is possible i want to make DTA controls everything...and the stock ecu only the dials in dashboard....
i don't understand why we can not connect the variable camshaft to pin 10 for v-tec and free the the AUX for the fans control ??
thanks guys for all your help...

Re: Confused...please help
It's very simple. Pin 10 is an off/on output. In no way is it variable.iceman_n wrote:.

If you are so badly stuck for outputs. Either let the factory ecu control some stuff as already mentioned. Or fit a simple thermo switch for the van as per many older cars.
Re: Confused...please help
yes but i have read somewhere that it is possible to connect the variable timing in pin 10 but it will be on/off
fully open from 3000rpm and fully close at 7000rpm...
now as i can see from my AUX it is 25% open at 2000rpm, 50% open at 2500rpm and 100% open from 3000rpm to 7000rpm.
maybe it is time to make a serious discussion with my mapper...and free the AUX for fan control and it will be ok with the bosch water temp that i fit...
