Billet MAP Sensors

Post by Viatron »

Has anyone used these before? Just wondering on quality and suitability to use on our Supercharged Zetec project using an S40?

Never used one before, but they seem pretty cheap given the work involved to make them. That would worry me a little that they're spending a lot on looks, and using cheap internals.

Worth a try I guess though, it'll probably be fine.

It's a pity they use those ugly AMP Superseal connectors and don't bother to seal the connectors properly with a nice boot.

AMP seal are cheap and easy to use. I certainly dont see it as a negative. I'd prefer those over Mini timers

I'd prefer a DTM connector.

DTM's are nice, but you need the proper crimp tool realy. at least the tools for the AMP's are more available to the public!

sealing wise there isent much between them, although the DTM's are more compact
