Newbie Question Common grounding?

Post by crash69 »

Are the SENSOR GND terminals connected at some stage to the POWER GND at any point? Its not shown in the manual as connected or is there any harm done in connecting Sensor GND to Power GND

If you are concerned about inadvertent grounding of a sensor ground it's not the end of the world but try and avoid it. They are connected internally according to my meeter but there may be some special gizmo in there also?

Internally yes they will all be connected.

But as long as all grounds are good and not scattered all over the place you should be fine.

What sensor are you looking to wire to the power ground ?
