I tried that already i'm afraid and diagnostics say "engine not cranking". I tried reversing the crank signal/ground but still the same problem..

Re: Subaru sensors
Once you've fixed the crank trace, you will be fine. You don't need the cam signal to sync.
Just make sure all cam and sequential settings are turned off.

Re: Subaru sensors
Right, fixed that already, ground wire was not fully inserted on the plug.
What are the settings regarding number of teeth and number of missing teeth though? Havem't used such wheel before

The Pins in the connector should be locked in with the little white tabs, without these pressed in you cannot fully plug the connectors into the ECU. What have you done to make it connect now?learner wrote:Right, fixed that already, ground wire was not fully inserted on the plug.

Re: Subaru sensors
Hi, Sorry my bad but some people cut these tabs off to make them fit then wonder why a bad connection happens.learner wrote:Hi Tony, yes that's right but I was talking about the crank sensor plugAntral wrote:learner wrote:The Pins in the connector should be locked in with the little white tabs, without these pressed in you cannot fully plug the connectors into the ECU. Re: Subaru sensors
Firstly, the wires on the sensor are back to front. Swap them around.
Then select flywheel mode 4 in General Engine Settings. You'll need to work out the sensor position angle.
